Here is a previously not shown frame from the summer (or late fall) of 1975 when John and Yoko were signing autographs at the Broadway play, "Same time Next year."   Yoko was pregnant with Sean at this time.  

Same Time Next year again

Here we see John signing the poster from the Broadway play he and Yoko say that evening called, Same Time Next Year.  These series photos were taken in July 1975 and I am still trying to find out the exact day.   This photo was taken by Vinnie  Zuffante, who was one of the great Beatle fan paparazzi photographers (if you ask me).  Thank you Lizzie for sending this one along.   I love it!

Same Time Next Year part 3

Currently on ebay, someone is selling some "new" photos taken from when John and Yoko saw the play "Same Time Next Year" in 1975. Here is the story (taken from the ebay auction)

Photographs of John Lennon and Yoko Ono, taken on the streets of New York City in 1979 ! This is my story. With inside information, i was told that on a certain day, John Lennon and Yoko Ono would be attending a Broadway show ( Same Time, Next Year ) in the theater district of New York City, in the summer of 1979 !
Close to showtime a limousine pulls up, and sure enough, John Lennon and Yoko Ono step out. They were whisked in so fast, i blicked, and they were in the theater !
Determined to get a photo, i waited for the show to end. Me, standing on a garbage can outside the theater, towering over the crowd, John and Yoko exit the theater.
They walked toward me to their limousine, which was behind me, as my 8mm movie camara was filming this. As John and Yoko walked past me, i yelled out "John" !
as i extended my hand, and John Lennon shook my hand !!! As you can see, John Lennon is looking up at me, as i stood on the garbage can ! This was the last frame !

This is an interesting story, but I find it odd that the person says the year was 1979! The play, Same Time Next Year opened in 1975 and closed in 1978 (basic google search can get you opening and closing of all Broadway plays...not hard). So she did not shake John's hand in 1979, it was 1975 and Yoko was pregnant with Sean.

Same Time Next Year part 2

A fan named Sonia sent me this photo from when John and Yoko went to see the play, "Same Time Next Year" in 1975. I really appreciate it, because it is one that I did not previously have, but I believe in the "comments" section it was being talked about. So here it is!

Same Time Next Year

"Same Time Next Year" is the name of a comedy play that was on Broadway from March 1975 - Sept 1978. During the summer of 1975 (for some reason I have July written down), John and Yoko went and saw this play. Yoko is very much pregnant with Sean, so August might be a better guess for the day the Lennons saw this production. Along with the two previous photos I posted of John, I also won two photos taken from the day they saw the play. I notice that John is wearing a neat beaded necklace in all but one of the photos. I wonder if he took the necklace off and gave it to a fan??? The two colored photos are the ones I just got. But I am adding all of the photos of this event just for the fun of it.

I always thought John had an interesting hair cut here. I believe this was from New Years' Eve in 1976.

Yoko's Pregnant....

For years I have been trying to pinpoint the exact date of this set of photos. From looking at the Playbill in the fan's hand in the above photo, I hae discovered that the Broadway play John and Yoko saw that night was "Same Time Next Year" which opened at the Brook Atkins Theatre in March 1975. From a caption of the top photo in a magazine (I belive) I learn that it was July 1975. There are only two sets of photos that show Yoko obviously pregnant with Sean. These photos and another set of John and Yoko out on the town. I think John was look very healthy and good in 1975.
