I know that history tells us that in 1968 the Beatles were not always getting along.   They recorded much of The White album on their own.   Ringo got mad and quit the group.     And yet I see these photos and I see four best friends -- brothers.      Sure they had their differences and did not always get along, but look at these photos -- -they were still best friends.

Not very often do we see a photo of Maggie and Paul together!   I wonder if the fan that took the photo even know who she was.   I am sure the "regular" fans recognized her, but the fans visiting most likely were clueless.   I only started hearing about Maggie about 10 years ago myself.

I am not sure why this photo looks so...uhhh...red?   I tried to fix it up some,  and believe me it looks a lot better than the copy I purchased....but still...not that good.  But Paul always looks good. :)

I have gotten so many fan photos of Paul in this pink jacket that I started a separate file for them. And while Paul must have liked this particular jacket, it isn't one of my favorite McCartney clothing items.

I wonder how many boquets of flower Paul McCartney has been given in his lifetime. I really do enjoy this photo. Paul is wearing his pink jacket and the fans look so happy to see him!

This blog wouldn't be nearly as cool if Bruno didn't send me photo from time to time. I don't ask him where he get them, but he just keeps sending amazing fan shots of the Beatles. I know that English isn't Bruno's native language, and he might not be able to read everything posted here, but I hope he can understand my honest and sincere THANK YOU BRUNO!!!

And what did Bruno send this weekend? Well it is Paul McCartney in August 1968 wearing that oh so familar pink jacket. It looks to me that he is leaving the recording studio with some type of tape box in his hand? Hmmmm......

I love the Beatles, but sometimes I have to questin their fashion senses. I know it was the 1960's but some of the stuff they wore back then was strange! However, in this case, Sir Paul McCartney was ahead of his time. Here it is in the 2000's and men all over are wearing pink, well at least boys in my 2nd grade. But Paul started wearing a pink jacket in 1968. He can be seen in several fan photos here in the pink jacket and most famously during the "Mad Day Out" photo shoot where he was wearing the entire pink suit!! You go Paul! Rock that pink suit!
