I believe John had just been through his car accident while driving in Scotland. With him were Yoko, Julian and Kyoko.
Their car accident in Scotland was on July 1,1969.
I knew it was the month of July, but I mixed up the year. Thanks. Now I'm curious, does anyone here, knows why John was absent from this event?
Not too long ago I read a book all about the Yellow Submarine and it seems like it said there why he was absent. I will have to go back to that book and find it. I should have written it down, because I knew I wouldn't remember.
