Paul and Denise

 March 13, 1967

Denise Werneck always seemed to be able to get the best posed photos with Paul.    I always thought they looked cute together.   For those of you who might not know,  Denise was one of Lizzie Bravo's close friends that came to London from  Brazil slightly before Lizzie got there.

It was hard to post this photo knowing that Lizzie is not going to comment on it.   I am not sure if Lizzie took this photo or not.  Does anyone know?  I am trying to label the ones that she took properly.

Denise and Paul

I just adore this cute photo of Paul and Brazilian fan, Denise.      Lizzie:  Is Denise a Paul girl?   She sure looks happy to be standing next to him!

you really got a hold on me

photo taken by Denise Wernek on Feb 14, 1967

I find this to be just so awesome!   Notice the girls sitting at EMI waiting for the Beatles.   Lizzie Bravo is the girl in the glasses with the beautiful smile.   Next to her is who I believe to be her friend, Denise who took this great photo of Paul where he looks sort of like a spy during the recording of the Sgt. Pepper album.   In the Grossman photo she is holding up the Paul photo that she took and here is a copy of the actual photo.  I just think this is so cool and I hope it doesn't anger anyone that I posted it.

Thanks to Lewis for sending me the H. Grossman photo and to Bruno for the Paul photo.

Color coordination

Love this photo! Where have I seen this girl before? Is she in other fan photos? I think she and Paul make a nice couple!

Cynthia and John 1967

Many Beatles fans have a favorite "Beatles girl" that they just adore. I can't really say that I have a favorite girl because I like them all for different reasons. But if someone put a gun to my head and made me choose a favorite I think I would go with Cynthia Lennon. I have read both of her books and have felt that I have a lot in common with Cynthia. We are alike and I think that if I were around England in the 60's we could have been great friends. Unfortunately my life continued to be similar to Cyn's because my marriage ended very much in the same way hers did. The only difference is that my former husband was not a Beatle and it wasn't in all of the newspapers and magazines. But I know the pain that she felt when she caught Yoko and John together because it has happened to me. So maybe that is why I feel like Cyn is really cool. She is on the top of my "Beatle people I would love to meet" list.

I really like this photo because it from 1967. The copyright information was that it was taken by Lizzie Bravo. Lizzie did you take this photo? I have had it in a VERY small version for a long time and am happy that the new yahoo Cynthia Lennon group has posted it in large format.

The 1967 Pepper Sessions

It is strange how I get some of the fan photos I have obtained. Let's see if you can follow this one. A couple of weeks ago someone who is a friend of mine on facebook had a friend who posted photos of his Beatles collection. Even though I didn't know this guy, I clicked on his Beatles collection photos and looked at them. One of the item in his collection was an Beatleg LP called "The 1967 Pepper Sessions." From his small facebook photo, it looked like the cover had fan photos that I didn't have on it along with a few that I did have. So...I went to the bootlegzone to see if I could find more about the album. Well....they had the cover in a high quality large photo, so I took that photo and then cropped the Beatles fan photos that I didn't have out it. I also posted the two photos in their complete version that I already had, the one of John in the stripped pants is one of Lizzie's photos (I believe she took the photo...but it is one of my top 5 favorite John photos of all times).

Do any of you have this album?? It supposedly comes with a large booklet. Can someone check out that booklet for me and see if there are any more fan photos inside??
