I just found out this little tidbit about these photos.  John is wearing the exact same cap that was made for him by Helen Anderson in Liverpool.    You know the classic leather cap that John wore all the time during the Beatles years?   Here he during the Plastic Ono Band era still wearing his favorite cap.
