Fun in the water

 See those little specks of people in the distance?   That is John, Cynthia, George & Pattie in Tahiti in 1964.

The word is out: John is married and has a baby!

January 6, 1964 -  Yes Beatle fans, it is true -- John Lennon was married to Cynthia and they had a baby named John Julian.  The married couple lived right here in this flat.   Shocking news to hear 60 years after the fact.  
 

Reunited

 

December 27, 1973 -  50 years ago Julian and Cynthia flew over to Los Angeles to spend time with John and May.  These photos might not be from that exact day, but they still show what happened.  Julian hadn't seen his Dad in many years and you can tell that he's nervous and a little uncomfortable.  But by the end of the trip, Julian and John had a good time together and John didn't end contact with Julian ever again.

Sad day for Cyn

Cynthia Lennon at court on the day her divorce from John Lennon became final.   Divorce is sad no matter who is involved.   I just just sense the sadness on Cyn's face even though she is staying strong for the media.
