I thought it would be fun to post a photo of Ringo flashing a peace sign for every decade since the 1960s.  However -- I could not find a peace sign photo of Ringo from the 1970s.  That can't be right! I found pictures from the 70s of Ringo giving a backwards two fingers but not a peace sign, so if you ever see one, please send it my way. 

Anyhow--- here is wishing Ringo Starr the best 85th birthday anyone could ever have!  Peace and Love!

My good friend, Allison and co-host of the great podcast "b/c The Beatles" met Ringo in L.A. this past Friday on his birthday!   I am so excited and happy for her.   She says that he was really nice.  Make sure to listen to b/c The Beatles to hear all about her adventures.

Ringo's big birthday show

What did you all think of Ringo's big show last night?    I thought it was great!  It was disappointing that Paul didn't send Ringo a quick happy birthday message and they just showed last year's performance of Helter Skelter, but besides that, I love it!    I really liked seeing Ringo's family wishing him a happy birthday.    His grandchildren are so cute!   

It is still on youtube if you haven't seen it.  It was a lot of fun -- which I know I personally haven't gotten very much of recently.

Beatles Sing-a-long coming soon!

This Saturday, April 25, 2020, at 9:00 a.m.  Pacific / 12 (noon) p.m. Eastern  There will be a Beatles Yellow Submarine sing-a-long on the Beatles channel on You Tube.

I know it wasn't the big announcement many of you were hoping for, but we will get more news about the re-release of Let It Be in the future. 

Right now -- let's enjoy the chance to have a good old fashion Beatles sing-along.   Who's joining in with me?

It is noon on July 7, 2017 and you know what that means!   It is time to celebrate Ringo Starr's 77th birthday with a lot of peace and love.

Peace and Love!!!

I know that many of you think that Ringo's "peace and love" bit is over the top.    I have read the comments about wanting to tie Ringo's hands behind his back every time he posts a video online so that you dont' have to see him flash a peace sign.    However--- I think we all can agree that spreading a little peace and love for a few seconds once a year is a nice thing.    I think it is such a neat idea.  One that John Lennon would have been all for, don't you think?   Seems right up his alley.  

And so I hope all of you join me right now in claiming peace and love and strive to live the rest of the year with peace and love on your minds.

Best wishes to Ringo.   What an amazing 77 year old man!  And to think---the doctor's told his mother that he wouldn't live past childhood!
