Ringo's big birthday show
What did you all think of Ringo's big show last night? I thought it was great! It was disappointing that Paul didn't send Ringo a quick happy birthday message and they just showed last year's performance of Helter Skelter, but besides that, I love it! I really liked seeing Ringo's family wishing him a happy birthday. His grandchildren are so cute!
It is still on youtube if you haven't seen it. It was a lot of fun -- which I know I personally haven't gotten very much of recently.

thanks
Deleteloved it but disappointed with Paul too
ReplyDeleteI loved it too! The girls - Sheila E. and Sheryl Crow - were fantastic! There is more footage on his Instagram, including Zak and his wife.
ReplyDeleteit was fantastic to see Ringo perform again, great show
ReplyDeleteMy favorite part was when Ringo said "in my mind I'm still 24". Sheryl Crow was amazing, Sheila E too.
ReplyDeleteAlso, Pete Best sent a birthday message to Ringo on Twitter. That was very classy. I was never a big fan of Pete as a drummer, but he seems to be a cool guy.
At times the show almost seemed to be a tribute to John Lennony with all the covers of his songs being performed. I wish the Peter Frampton and Colin Hay songs were left in the show. At least they performed Ringo songs. (MarkZapp)
ReplyDeleteRINGO IS AMAZING
