Julie Harris was the Beatles costume designer on both A Hard Day's Night and Help!. The Beatles and Wilfrid Brambell celebrated her birthday on the set of the Beatles' first film. I don't think Ringo is very happy they are putting that little cake on his drums. They loom large in his legend, you know.
Now that Ringo's All Starr Tour 2023 is over and Paul's Got Back tour has begun, I hope everyone that has seen or is seeing a Beatle in concert in 2023 has enjoyed every song and every moment. Enjoy the fact that it is 2023 and both Ringo and Paul are performing.

We just celebrated Billy J's 80th birthday (a week early) this past weekend at the Fest for Beatle Fans in Chicago. 60 years ago Billy was celebrating his 20th birthday with the Beatles.
Well, I am a day late, but I think that is alright. I was thinking about George all weekend on what would have been his 80th birthday. Happy birthday, George!! I am posting this photo of George from 50 years ago, on his 30th birthday. Every time I see this photo, I do not like the knife sticking straight up like that - but that is probably just me.
