The strangest Beatles related photo of 2016....

Is Ringo holding a John Lennon face mask?   Is Paul doing a John Lennon at Shea Stadium impression?   No idea, but this photograph makes me laugh.

This fell out of a scrapbook that I bought recently at auction.    Pretty much sums up how I am feeling right now.

George's friend, Mary

This is a letter that George wrote back to a fan while he was in India in 1968.  In the letter sent to George, this van (named Ivan) told George that he was in a band and wanted to play the sitar in his group.   He then asked George if he could send him the money needed to buy a sitar!   Here is George's hilarious answer!  What a crazy drawing!  

This is now up for auction (Bonham's I think...I look at all of the auctions and I get confused).   If Ivan is selling it, I think he will make more than enough for that sitar.

Everyone thinks I have taken this Beatles obsession a little too far but.....

you don't see me sleeping with a bust of Paul McCartney every night.   I'm just sayin'.....

I found this hidden away in a copy of "The Write Thing" from 1976.   It made me laugh and I think it is still true today!
