In the flowers
It is interesting to me how a Beatles song can spark a specific memory and feeling but it is also true of a Beatles photograph.
I bought a very large poster version of the third photo posted here in August of 1994 when I first started going to college. I walked over to this poster sale in the student union. I didn't have any friends. Really hadn't met anyone. But I knew I wanted some posters to decorate my room and I was hoping to find some Beatles posters. The two guys selling these posters were from Liverpool and were so excited that I loved the Beatles. They gave me a discount on the poster. I remember this so vividly because I was homesick and somehow talking to these guys from Liverpool made me feel happy and that things were going to be alright. And so the Beatles in the flowers poster hung in my room throughout my college career. The poster always made me smile. It is a great photo of the guys and I especially thought John looked really handsome in the back there. Sadly, after graduation, the poster was in sad shape and got ripped one last time. Maybe I need to look for a replacement....

Madrid press conference

So tired of seeing this photo online stating that the girl in the background is Cynthia. It is not her! She did not go on this tour with the Beatles. |

Snookaroo
Not fan taken photos, but these are a couple of photos that made the rounds between fans in the late 1970's that I have obtained copies of for scans. Since I have them I figured that I better share them.
