Now and Then

 May 2022

Back in May 2022 I saw Paul McCartney in concert in Orlando.  What I didn't know was that Paul had gotten into the studio with this orchestra to work on The "new" Beatles song "Now and Then."   Rumor out there is saying that we might hear the finished product on John's birthday.   That is very, very soon.  Let's go!

Sgt Pepper memories

Paul with Peter Blake this past summer.   I like the woman in the background looking at them talking.  She looks amazed, which she should be.   How often do you see the guy that wrote the song "Sgt. Pepper" talking to the guy that took the photo for the cover of the "Sgt. Pepper" album?

Have a loving Thanksgiving

Paul sent me this lovely photo of him and Nancy today and wished me a happy Thanksgiving.   Alright -- I am sure he sent it to all of you as well, and I am not special, but there is just something fun about seeing the name "Paul McCartney" come across my text messages and, for a second, thinking that Paul and I are old buddies and he is just sending me a pic of him and his wife.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Bumping into Uncle Paul

November 12, 2022

How cool is this?  Julian just happened to see his "Uncle Paul" (his words, not mine) hanging out in an airplane lounge at the same time he was there!    I think the photo of the two of them is lovely, and I like how Paul is showing that he has downloaded Julian's new album, Jude, on his phone!   Beatle family warms my heart.

Have a scary Halloween!

This is the photo that Paul McCartney's people sent out to his fan today.    Even wearing a full face mask, we all know it is Paul -- I mean just look at those eyes.

The Beatles in Time Square

I hope many of you are enjoying the Super Deluxe Revolver boxset as much as I have been!  A new  Beatles music release is always exciting!   Someone posted this awesome Beatles advertisement that is currently in Time Square!   I love that it is 2022 and The Beatles are still relevant.   I love these four photos from the "Butcher" photo session.   I especially like Ringo.

So if you find yourself in NYC soon, make sure to say "hi" to The Beatles.

Just like us -- but not really

 October 15, 2022-

Paul and Nancy are spotting walking around London.   And we notice that Nancy is wearing a Beatles sweatshirt!   I've been known to wear a Beatles sweatshirt!  However -- mine was not designed by Stella McCartney and sure did not cost me over $400!!   But I do have some cute Birkenstocks, sort of like Nancy, but I would never be seen in publish wearing socks and Birkenstocks.    However -- this is a good reason to continue my obsession with Paul's socks.

The positives of being negative

October 10, 2022 -- Great news!  Ringo has recovered from having Covid and will be back on tour soon.  I hope that he continues to take it easy for the next few days because I know from experience that it isn't a good idea to push yourself too much once you start feeling better.   Ringo sure is looking healthy!

Get Well Soon Ringo!

Well, the official report is that Ringo has tested positive for Covid-19.   As someone who has had it 3 times, I am confident that Ringo will be fine.   He will just need to take it easy for a few weeks and not try to push himself too much.   Unfortunately, that means that, once again, his tour has to be postponed.  Is this the 4th time these fans haven't been able to attend their concert due to Covid?  Crazy!

Get well soon Ringo!

Sending peace and love to Ringo

Ringo and Gregg Bissonette on September 30, 2022.

Ringo had to postpone his concert (again).  This time it is because Ringo is sick, and whatever this sickness he has (which isn't Covid) is bothering his voice, and he is unable to sing.   I have been reading some crazy rumors about Ringo's well-being all day today on social media.   IF Ringo was terminally ill, I highly doubt that news would be made.   I don't believe the rumors, and I just wish Ringo good health and that those fans will soon get to attend the concert.
