Putting the driver in the buggy

  1. Bill Corbett (MarkZapp)

  2. The man in the baby stroller is The Beatles driver, Bill Corbett. He worked for the band until Alf Bicknell came on the scene in October 1964.This looks to be taken on April 3, 1964 when The Beatles made their commercial trailer for "A Hard Days Night". The were sitting in the strollers...a phone can be heard ringing...Ringo picks it up and tells John: "It's for you!" Lennon...typing away tells Ringo, "Don't be soft!"

    1. Bill Corbett was my late Grandfather. I vividly remember his accounts of life with Beatles. After he looked after them , he became the manager of the Small Faces…

  3. Bill drove the Small Faces but he was not their manager. That was the horrible Don Arden who he worked for.
