April 1962 -- these are some of the most haunting photos of John and George. Astrid really knew how to capture the mood of a person in her photography. These photos were taken around the same time as the fun Star Club photos I posted yesterday, but wow what a contrast.
From what I've read, these were taken in Stu's studio not long after Astrid had told them about Stu's death hence the solemn expressions
