November 28, 1974 --   While John Lennon was rocking out Madison Square Garden, George Harrison was doing his thing in Atlanta, Georgia. 

45 years ago tonight history was made

November 28, 1974 -   It was on this date 45 years ago that John Lennon held up his bargain on a bet with Elton John and performed live on stage during the Thanksgiving Elton John concert at Madison Square Garden.     Sadly this was the last time John performed at a concert of this type of magnitude.   (He did perform live one more time after this, but it was nothing like this concert).    Everyone there gave John a lot of love and were happy to see him perform.    Oh what a night.

November 26, 2019 -- Ringo and Barb have dinner with friends and family in Beverly Hills.   

Geoge in Memphis

November 27, 1974 -  George performs in Memphis.    The Dark Horse tour is really hard to document photo wise unless the date or location is already known.    George changed clothing during the concert, played twice in the same day in some cities and repeated clothing.     I didn't have any photos specifically labeled "Memphis" for this date.   However, there is a nifty t-shirt that a radio station gave out at the concert.

I have never seen photos of the Beatles inside the theater while A Hard Day's Night movie was premiered.  How awesomely surreal that much have been!

November 26, 2019 --  Paul went to the Kaplan House in New York City.   And notice that he has on a name tag with "Paul" written on it.   As if everyone there didn't know who he is?  LOL! 

Baton Rouge

November 26, 1974:  George performs in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.   I think it is interesting that George went to some non-traditional cities on this tour.    Most performers hit up New Orleans if they go to Louisiana and not the capital city of Baton Rouge. 

Ringo and Barb at the Plaza

November 26, 1980:   Ringo and Barb at the Plaza Hotel in New York City.   This is the day that Ringo introduced Barb to John and sadly was the last time Ringo ever saw his friend.    The last photo in the set is a "new" one and I still haven't given up hope that there is a photo from this date with Ringo and John together.
