wrong it was April 1975 Stand By me
That wasn't in front of a paid audience.
What about Imagine Live at the Salute to Lew Grade on April 18, 1975?
Again---that was in front of a live studio audience, but I specifically said "a paid audience" for a reason.
I didn't know. I knew it was a charity event and I thought they would had paid to get in.
Ooops, maybe I don't know it was a charity event. Apparently it wasn't. And I see it was the same show as DiBo mentions above. So, never mind.
No worries. I do know that Stand by Me was the last song John ever performed live, but that was for TV only with some people in the audience, right?
And even that was an audience that paid to see Elton John. Was John's last concert the One To One concert on August 30, 1972?(MarkZapp)
Okay if you want to get really tecnical about it. LOL
Do we know who the photographer was? I’ve the negatives for this but can’t remeber who took them 😔
