Left overs from the tour

Here are some photos from the 1966 tour that just didn't make the cut or I wasn't quite sure where to put them.

  1. Always amazing that any lucky fan snapped posing with an arm around a Beatle becomes - - as she couldn't have known at the time with only current affairs to go on - - instamatic history for the rest of our days.

    1. I didn't post your comment because I never saw it. I even checked the comment "spam" folder and it just didn't go through. I post 99.99% of every comment I receive, even if I don't agree with it because I strongly believe in freedom of speech. The only comments I don't post are ones that are racist or extremely insulting to someone (namely me---I know I am fat---no one needs to remind me in comments).

I am curious as to what your post about "androgynous" was all about.

    3. Yes! I do get the question. I am pretty sure that the person in the top photo is Bess Coleman, who was a reporter with one of the Teen magazines covering the Beatles' tour.
(If someone else knows differently, please let me know). If it isn't Bess Coleman, then it is one of the girls that toured with the Beatles for a teen fan magazine.

During the Beatles era, both boys and girls had "Beatle cuts" and at times it WAS difficult to tell the difference between male and female. I think it is an adorable look.
