Fun Fact: Ringo Starr is the only Beatle to have hosted Saturday Night Live. George and Paul both appeared as performers, and Paul did a few skits, but Ringo was the only one to host the show. It was on December 8, 1984. This photo was taken during a rehearsal for the show.

ReplyDeleteI remember seeing this (I wish you could get the whole episode on You Tube)....the opening sequence is the best! I won't give it away! But it's VERY funny! It takes place at a Beatles memorabilia auction, that's all I can say! Alas, I don't see it usually on You Tube, only the short promo.
