So I have to confess that I have a guilty pleasure of pop music. And while I am far from being a Taylor Swift fan, I do like her catchy 80's throw-back song, "Shake it off." So when the video and photos of Paul joining Taylor on stage to sing "Shake it Off" as well as "I saw her standing there" appeared, I thought it looked like a lot of fun. I also bet Paul had to snag an autograph for Bea!
But what I find even more interesting is that the guy in the hat on the side appears (and according to everyone online and we know online doesn't lie) to be Sean Lennon! Can anyone think of any time in history that we know of that Paul played with one of the Lennon's (sons)??? Anybody????
Pretty cool if you ask me!
Hi Sara: So you asked, "Can anyone think of any time in history that we know of that Paul played with one of the Lennon's?" If you're talking about "any time in history", well, then yes -- from 1957 to 1970 -- with John Lennon. (I HAD to do this! Sorry.)
ReplyDeleteHaha---you got me there! I am sick and on a lot of meds right now, so cut me some slack :)
DeleteSorry, but that is not Sean Lennon. Sean did not attend this.
ReplyDeleteDo you know this for a fact? I have been trying to get to the bottom of this, but everything I read says that it is Sean.
Deletepapers all said it's sean
ReplyDeleteOF COURSE IT'S SEAN - BIG DEAL WAS MADE ABOUT IT IN PRESS SO WE'D SEE IT
ReplyDeleteDefinitely NOT Lennon, you can clearly see in the B&W photo that it isn't.
ReplyDeletewatch the video clip to decide -remember that sean is part Japanese and doesn't look exactly like john
ReplyDeleteIt's interesting that Paul's playing a Fender Jazz bass. Haven't seen that in a long time (is it his?)
ReplyDeleteCheers from UK, LeftyBass
As an ubber Sean's fan : IT isnt him!!
ReplyDeletewould much rather see Paul jam with these musicians - can not stand Kayne West
ReplyDeleteIt's definitely not Sean. A vague resemblence, yes, but definitively not him.
