People came from all over the area to see the Beatles at the ranch....but not very many people got their photo taken with them. The one exception is this one young boy. He pops up in a lot of the photos!
The boy is Reed Pigman, Jr., son of Reed Pigman (Sr.) the owner of American Flyers, the charter airline that flew the Beatles around America on their '64 tour. The Pigman family owned the ranch in Alton, Missouri where the Beatles spent their well-deserved day off at the end of the official package tour (September 19, 1964). So it's not a coincidence that the boy is in several photos taken at the ranch. His parents owned the place!
