Beatles stop at Walnut Ridge, Arkansas

After the one day of relaxation at Reed Pigman's Ranch in Alton, Missouri, the Beatles flew in the small airport in a town that only had a population  of 5,000 people---  Walnut Ridge, Arkansas.     It is said that about 40% of the town turned out at the airport to see the Beatles depart for New York City.

The Beatles were only at Walnut Ridge for a few short minutes, but their time there made a lasting impression on the people of the town.
