Jimmie is left out

I always thought these photos were sort of symbolic of how this tour went.  There are the three Beatles but Jimmie Nichol is off to the side separated from the group.    And that is how it went---Jimmie was there and he was sort of part of the The Beatles, but he wasn't really in the band.   Don't you think if Ringo was there, they would not have had him off to the side, but in the middle with the other three?

    Aw poor Jim!

I think the photographer may have still posed them that way....but it could have been any of the four Beatles on the "outside". But to put Jimmy there......that had to have been deliberate!

And to put him on the floor like that, beneath everyone else! Oh, the inhumanity of it all!

  2. I have nothing against Jimmy Nicol but he wasn't a Beatle, he was a fill-in, he wasn't even cute. I'm sure if The Beatles started a decade later, they would've rescheduled the concert until Ringo left the hospital; it seemed to me not very loyal. If John, Paul or George were laid up they would have delayed or cancelled. I always say: "Not without Our Ringo!"
