George at the Happiest place on Earth



I just love this photo of George and Eric Idle along with apparently with some fans  Derek Taylor's wife and kids and Richard Diello at Disneyland in 1977!    I guess Derek Taylor took the photo since it is from a book I want but will never own, Fifty Years Adrift.  From what I understand, George, Peter Sellers, Ravi Shankar and Eric all went to Disneyland.  What a sight that must have been!  They are in Fantasyland near the carousel.

      Ahhh...well that explains a bit. Thanks you....I will fix this. The resource I found said it was taken with fans, but I thought the women looks very familiar. I NEVER would have recognized Richard Diello...what happened to his big afro?

    I've got to get my mind around this: George, Peter Sellers, Ravi Shankar and Eric Idle (and Derek Taylor and Richard Dilello! Those two are no slouches either!)....at Disneyland.

    I wonder if Sellers was on good behavior! That guy - genius as he was - could be "difficult" to be around to say the least, at least from what I've read (like, for instance, Ringo's comment about him in The Anthology book!).

    One day we will have that book, somehow, Sara! Though, I am falling way behind on my Beatle books, so....maybe not! :(
