George and Mylon

George and Mylon Lefevre at Friar Park.    I am not sure of the year, but I know that Mylon joined Warner Brothers around the same time that George did (1976 or so), so I would image this is from that time period and that is how these two musicians got together.

  1. In 1973, Mylon and Alvin Lee (Ten Years After) recorded the album "On the Road to Freedom." George contributed the song "So Sad" and played on it. This is probably from that session.

    1. I didn't know that, Doug. Then that is a good guess that it is from that session. I did not realize that George had such curly hair in 1973. I thought it was sort and wavy, however there are not a whole lot of photos of George from 1973 to go by.

  2. Wonderful and ultra rare pic! George had permed long hair for most of 1973 up to around May 1974 but in 1973 never had a mo but grew one in India in Feb 1974 so I think this is from 1974 sometime though I have never seen him look exactly like this ever! Actually there are lots of 1973 pics around including one of the last ones taken with Pattie! I have over 30 1973 George pics!

  3. I only have photos of George from 5 separate occasions in 1973, which isn't a whole lot. I know that early in 1973, both he and Pattie had perms. Those are the last photos f them as a couple, right? And I have photos of him around Christmas where his hair is long and pulled back. I think 1972-1973 is one time period in George's life that is overall missing documentation photo wise.
