Fans on stage in Brazil

Last night must have been one great night for the fans in Brazil who saw Paul in concert.   It seems like all of my regular "go to" places online have been a buzz about this amazing show.   I  have been trying not to look at the set list, but I did see a few songs.   I sort of wanted to be surprised when I see Paul in Memphis on the 26th of this month.     Any of you out there going to see Paul in Memphis?   Anyone else have VIP seats and want to be my Beatle buddy?    Sometimes being a "lone ranger" Beatlefan just stinks!

Anyhow...Paul called up some fans onstage yesterday!  It seems like he has been doing this a bit less in the past year.   But some lucky ducky fans were able to get onto the stage with the man himself!   So jealous!!!

  2. hi sara! i was at the concerts in belo horizonte and goiania - they were FANTASTIC! the top photo must have been at the hot sound soundcheck (i have never been, it costs something like US$1,500.- for you to have a veggie meal, see the soundcheck from faraway and stand glued to the front for i don't know how many hours until the show starts: there is no seating on the ground floor in stadiums here in brazil). the other photos are from a group of girls that launched an online campaign last year "paul vem falar uai", which means "paul, come say uai". uai (pronounced "why") is something that people from the state of minas gerais say a lot (bh is the capital). it was a wonderful moment, i was so happy for them! after the concert, i met one of them and she was still crying! i stayed at the same hotel as paul in bh and saw him at arm's length, coming out of the elevator. i was on the opposite side of most of the fans, along with just a couple of people, so he didn't look at us, he looked at the tons of screaming fans. i didn't call him. i was happy just to look at him pass by soooo close! nancy is truly beautiful and has a lovely smile. i'm still in total macca mode! prepare yourself, my friend, these were some of the best paul concerts i've ever seen. they were my #25 and 26. love to all!

    1. Lizzie: This gets me so excited! Of all of the tours to pick to splurge on the VIP seats I think this one was a good choice. I hope that Paul waves to me or acknowledges me in some way. I also am in McCartney mode right now. On Thursday I am going to the movie theater to see Rock Show, on the 26th I am seeing Paul in concert and on June 4 I am seeing James in concert!
