Someone here spotted John Eastman, Paul McCartney, Linda McCartney and Geoff Ardent backstage in Chicago, Illinois during the Wings Over American tour on June 1, 1976. Did any readers happen to see Wings over America when it toured the U.S.?
I did see them in Houston at the Summit in 1976. It was 'Festival Seating' and the crush of people as the concert went on was scary. I was pretty close to the front and at one point the crush was so bad, my feet left the floor. If I'd have fallen, there'd be no getting up, but it was so packed, I don't think I COULD fall. Wings played a great show and seeing Paul play live (seen him almost every tour since) for that first time has been a close memory ever since. I somewhere have three snapshots that I took from a good perspective, but after those three I just watched the show.
