One of the interesting things about having this blog is that people who are doing project like to contact me. Some of them think that I am much more important than what I really am. Honestly I am just a fat girl in Illinois that teaches reading to 7 and 8 year olds. I love the Beatles and know a lot about them, but I am no one important in the history of the band. Sure once time my friend, Karen, referred to me in a speech she gave about the Beatles in college as "Beatles expert, Sara Schmidt" but really I am a nobody. But anyhow....in the past day I have been contacted by two individuals who are looking to speak with people who have attended Beatles concerts during the American tour.
The first person is doing a documentary and seems to be especially interested in the 1964 Denver concert, but he is looking for anyone who has stories from the 1964 American tour that is willing to share them on camera for this documentary. He is also looking for photos fan took during the press conferences or concert.
The second person is looking for information from anyone who attended any of the Los Angles Concert. He is working on a research project and needs some information from attenders of the 1964 or 1965 Hollywood Bowl show or the 1966 Dodgers Stadium Show.

Ugh! I know this is an old post but you are not "nobody"!!!!!!!! AAAAAAA! You teach reading to 7 and 8 year olds, that is so important! The most important, selfless, heroic thing! Then you do this blog, which gives so much happiness to people, including and especially...me! What more could we possibly want out of somebody! You write beautifully! So funny, informative, the tone is just spot-on perfect (and very Beatle-y!!)...you're kind-hearted and patient in the comments section.....you make going to work bearable! Maybe in life you have things you aren't happy about, we all do, we're all human....but as far as here? You're definitely "somebody". Like The Beatles themselves, you give us 100%......for FREE! The blog should be called "Meet The Beatles For Real....FOR FREE!"
