This collage was on display at the fest for Beatlefans in Chicago 2008. I love photos of John from 1980, especially during the making of Double Fantasy. I tried to take individual photos, but the glare wasn't helping. Still...I enjoy these photos so much! Thank you to whoever took them.

ReplyDeleteYou have done at excellent job here on your Beatles photo blog and the Beatles/Solo Boards you run. The BEST photo source for Beatles fans. I also like seeing photo's of John taken during the making of Double Fantasy 1980. He changed hairstyles often during this period.
The Sept 2. 1980 photos you recently posted is a real rarity. I'm guessing they were the first to feature John's new haircut a few weeks into the recording sessions.
