The fans

I often wonder about who were the fans that took these fan photos. What is their story? Beatle fans for the most part are just normal folks, but there is something about the Beatles. Something about those 4 men that just make us totally do crazy stuff. That crazy stuff might be to spend large amounts of money on some rare item for a collection or it might mean waiting outside Abbey Road Studios or a Beatles home for a glimpse of them. Or as some of these photos show, it might even meant running up on stage and touching a Beatle! But how did those who take the photos get so lucky? Was it just a case of being in the right place at the right time? Was it hours upon hours of waiting and calculating? Was it a mixture of all that and more? Beatle fans are some of the best people in the world!

  1. And I also wonder: where are they now? who are those people? do they still LOVE The Beatles taht much, or now they're just ordinary old and grey people? did they teach Beatles' songs to their kids? ....

  2. Something I always wonder when I watch the Shea Stadium concert (for example)is: you can see there are very young people of 10, 11, 12 years old who saw the boys atractive and sexy reason for what they were so excited (apart from others reasons of course). I wonder if they continue following them later when their music got much more complex and they changed their looks so greately, say in 1969 they were all bearded and looked much more old... were all those Shea stadium girls who were at that time 14,15,16 years old still fans of them?

  3. Ok, sorry to comment on such an old post, I lost a chunk of my pictures and am going back in time to re-get them (and to get stuff I missed!).....my favorite pic is the one of the classroom, with all the Beatle pictures on the wall!! That's the teacher I would have wanted to get!!!
