It must have been super exciting for fans to see one of The Beatles waving to them from their hotel window.

I found this one on tumblr.   It is a beautiful photo.  Do you think Pattie took it?

Looking out the window

While the Beatles look down at their large crowd of fans below, I see quite a crowd gathering around the window in the background to take a look at the Fab 4 as well.    How surreal it must have been for them to go back to Liverpool and be treated like royalty.

This is what it looked like to fans in Japan looking up at the Beatles in their hotel room in 1966. Is it just me, or does it look like they stuck a Ringo circa 1963 cut-out in the window?
