Having a blog means that you get a lot of strange emails of people from around the world. Most of them are great emails from other Beatle fans who either want to tell me how much they enjoy the blog or share with me their own story and photos. I also get those strange emails where the person emailing me obviously assumes that I am someone important and actually know the Beatles myself. I also get a lot of emails from people wanting me to mention their products on my blog. I stay away from that because I do not want anyone to think that I am making money off of other people's photos and stories. I do not make any money off this blog. But someone named Katie contacts me with a product that I think someone out there might actually be interested in. I know that I am and I might order one sometime down the line. Katie has Vintage Vinyl Journals, which are journals that are made out of old vinyl albums and covers. They have a large amount of Beatles albums available for sale. There also are a few John Lennon and one Wings album. She does take orders if there is something special you are wanting.
The neat thing about these journals is that they are acid free, so they would be perfect to use as a photo album for Beatles photos! Just remember to make sure that you don't use regular tape. Either use photo corners or acid-free tape (if you do not want to remove the photos). You could also use one of these journals as a scrapbook for your Beatles clippings. I thought they were super-cool looking and I wanted to share this with those of you who collect Beatles photos in hard copies and are looking for a safe way to save them. Remember that magnetic albums are of the devil. Go acid free today!
Here is the link in case you want to order these for yourself (or buy one for me hehe)

What a hobby!

I first want to thank everyone who has sent their love and concerns my way the past month. Beatle fans are some of the most awesome folks in the world! And while I do not personally know any of you, I still feel like we are all in one big global family that is just sharing in the love for four guys who are the best band ever.
Doing Beatles "stuff" is by far my favorite hobby (acting in community theatre comes in a close second place). And the top of that Beatle list is Beatles photos! I have been collecting Beatles photos in one form or another since 1995. And I a still am locating new and different Beatles photos all of the time! If I was alive in 1968, I most likely would be keeping my Beatles photos in this awesome Yellow Submarine photo book that I found on ebay. I have to say that this is just too cool!!
