Behind the scenes

I love this shot from Milan, Italy in 1965 for so many reasons.      It is an interesting shot and one that you never get to see.   The Beatles are wearing the "Shea" suits for one of the few times prior to the actually Shea concert.   I think I spot Mal back there and I start to realize that he and others often got to see the Beatles in concert from this view.   Notice those fans standing on something to get a closer look?  What is stopping them from getting up on the stage?  Isn't that an extremely small stage?

Some Beatles concerts I have very little photos in my files and others, like the afternoon Milan concert, I have a ton!    So here are the photos to share with you from the afternoon show 50 years ago.

The fans in Milan

The fans here show many of the emotions that we see from Beatle fans around the world in 1965.   But yet these photos are a bit different and I am not sure why.     Do you think Coca-Cola was handing out those red caps to everyone?   It seems like most of the fan (well at least the male ones) had that cap.      Sadly----I do not know Italian, so I can't find really any solid information about the Beatles in Italy.
