Ruffled shirts were very popular those years. It was inspired from '700 men shirts, but with psichedelyc colours. George also had something like that from '65, i don't remember John an Paul wearing somethng like it.
He wore a white ruffle shirt on the David Frost show when they performed Hey Jude.
