Treated like an old friend

 The first time we met, I visited him at his home in England in late 1978 while he was working on his self-titled album “George Harrison.” My dear friend was producing the record and introduced us. George could not have been kinder. He showed me around his home, taught me how to stand on a giant water lily pad, made me laugh, and treated me like an old friend from the moment I walked in. - Stephen Bishop
