This was taken at Bernadette's home on Childwall Dr. in Liverpool. A few years later, Bernadette (a.k.a. "Bernie") married Mike Byrne, who had played in the Roadrunners, a Mersey band contemporary with the Beatles. Bernie and Mike would go on to found The Beatles Story on Albert Docks. Bernie is a longtime Beatles Tour Guide. Not long ago, they wrote a book about their lives together and how they came to create the museum. They lived in this same house on Childwall for decades. I've known them off and on for almost 40 years.
