So Easy to Get High on Wings

Kilted Wings blasted out their encore of "High, High, High" at Glasgow's Apollo last night, and how the fans loved it. They were left on a musical high after two hours of the magnificent Paul McCartney road show. What a difference even since they were last here. They're so much together, so gut full of talent, and incredibly, they sound just the same as on their albums. So often, working bands are only a watered-down version of their records. McCartney plays piano, guitar, and sings all the time, urging the band on, yet he still finds time to spotlight Denny Laine and little Scot Jimmy McCulloch. But you should have heard the cheers when Paul was left alone on stage and sang the wistful " Blackbird " and "Yesterday." McCartney, the magician, has achieved a superb musical mix.
