The date is correct so I guess Ringo's facial hair grew quickly. There is a story in my book (Dear Beatle People) about a few fans who met Maureen at their home on this date and gave her an early birthday gift. She told the fans that Ringo was taken her to the Pallidum to see Snow that night as a birthday present. So of course the girls left there and immediate bought tickets to the concert in hopes of seeing Ringo. They did and waved to Maureen, who was shocked to see them there.
