I remember reading Carol Bedford's description of this look in her book. After having read it, it is So surreal to Look at these pictures now. It feels like the Beatles and the Apple Scruffs are all mythological creatures from magical times that will never come back. I know Carol has passed away several years ago, but I Wonder if she eventually got married, or even if she stayed single, if she lived a happy life. She Ended her book in Such a gloomy way, it really got me worried about her. I would really appreciate if anyone could answer me of she died in Peace and with with her loved ones by her side.
When I read Carol Bedford's book her emotional intensity seemed like a study in unhealthy obsession, and possibly some form of mental illness considering how far she took things. Hanging around Paul's house, Apple, or Abbey Road was understandable as fans were rewarded with being able to see and speak with the B4, in living, breathing flesh. For as long as that lasted. I closed the book feeling sorry for Carol and hoped that she found some balance in her life and love she could claim as hers alone.
