That lady is Felicia Collins. She played guitar and percussion for David Letterman's Late show on CBS. I'm not sure who the cowboy is. Also Sara, I have loved your page for years, thank you so much!
Can you believe that as of March 9, this site has been online for 16 years? Thank you so much for your kind words. I thought she looked familiar. I used to watch David Letterman Show on CBS, so that must be why! The cowboy hat guy does not look familiar to me, but I most likely someone will jump in and say who he is.
The guy in the cowboy hat is musician Fred LaBour... He plays bass in the Western swing band "Ryders In The Sky". He is also the one who helped spread the rumor that Paul McCartney had died in a car crash in 1966. He heard the rumor on radio station WKNR in Detroit on October 12, 1969 while a student at the University Of Michigan. He and a man named John Gray wrote a satirical review of Abbey Road called "McCartney Dead...New Evidence Brought to Light". Most of the clues in the story were made by Fred and John. The story was printed in the school newspaper, the Michigan Daily. They were surprised when the story was published all over the country and then all over the world!
