Over the years, I have been asked about these photographs of George being pushed in a wheelchair in an airport. People want to know, "What happened to George?" And really, all I ever knew was that he was injured by a lawn mower or something at Friar Park. Well, George fans -- I found the original newspaper article that explains the incident. It's not history-changing news, but hey, now we know!

Ex-Beatle George Harrison was caught on the hop yesterday.
"I feel a right clot," he said. "For about two weeks, I will have to hop everywhere."
Yesterday, though, George was taking it easy in a wheelchair when he went to Heathrow airport for a flight to Los Angeles.
He injured his foot in a tractor accident in the grounds of at his big house at Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire.
"The brakes failed as I drove down a hill. I jumped toward a hedge, but the back wheel went over my right foot," he said.
George was taken to hospital in Reading for X-rays.
