Ringo was critical of the Capitol 1976 R&R Music compilation, and rightly so. But despite him having input on Blast, it was a shoddy comp that was barely a half hour long (issued only 1 year after Goodnight Vienna and it didnt even hit the UK charts). Ahh but wait, the 1976 Best Of George crapilation LP would make Blast look well thought out in comparison.
