It seems pretty irresponsible and setting a bad example to the children to be walking around like that barefoot. She could have walked on glass, nails, stones, anything.
Everyone knows going barefoot was a 60s-early 70s thing. We did it in our neighborhood as kids and so did alot of other people. The No Shirt No Shoes No Service signs on shop windows in businesses in the U.S. was a reaction to all that. Dont know about Sweden but I'm sure business owners in other countries got tired of it too.
