During the last week of April 1979, Ringo was rushed to the hospital while he was in Monte Carlo. During emergency surgery, Ringo almost didn't make it. He had 5 feet of intestines removed. These photos were taken shortly after he was released from the hospital.

ReplyDeleteI remember hearing about this, as if it was yesterday! Some thought the man wouldn't live long, and look at him today. 💖
ReplyDeleteThe car crash happened the following year in London when the car Ringo was driving (with Barbara in passenger seat) flipped at speed.
