On this date, George had his tonsils out. It makes me wonder if George was in pain during the Get Back sessions and rooftop concert. Was this a planned tonsil removal or an emergency? And why did Neil Aspinall get his tonsils removed when the Beatles were on the rooftop? What was the deal with all of the tonsil removal?
Never thought I'd see the day of a photo of another Beatle in the hospital bed in 1969. It almost looks like a parody of Life With The Lions album cover. Side note, I never knew one could decorate the hospital room wall.
