On Sept 27, 1975 Ringo participated in a “Celebrity Tennis Tournament” in Johannesburg, South Africa along with Peter Lawford, Dino Martin, Jill St. John, Micky Dolenz and Davy Jones (Yes "Davy not Davey"). Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton also attended though they arrived too late to participate in the matches (BTW they remarried a few days later).
According to someone on Reddit this pic includes Dino Martin, members of vocal group The Three Degrees, Ringo Starr and Davy Jones at a 1975 celebrity tennis tournament in Johannesburg S Africa.
I realize that I spell Davy Jones name wrong in the tags. Until I find the time to change everyone's misspelled tag name, I am going to continue to tag them with the incorrect name because it will be easier to fix in the long run.
I went through and tried to fix Davy Jones, Klaus Voormann and Eleanor Bron. I am sure I didn't fix everything for over 14 years worth of posts, but I will keep trying little bit by little bit to clean things up.
