As great as it is to see Paul, I am super excited about seeing the photo he took in 1964! I want to compare them to the photos that Ringo took during the same time period. Again -- we need to see George and John's photos from 1964 as well. We know that all four of them brought cameras. That photo of John in the pool that is behind Paul is killing me! So amazing!
I hate to say this but I feel that I have to. Nowadays it's seems like Paul is just promoting one cash grab after another and nothing that he is plugging in inexpensive. It's getting to be too much! Doesn't he have enough money???
ReplyDeleteSo now you've said it, happy?! He's not ordering to buy anything, besides he could be giving all the money to his favourite charities. We do not know.

DeleteMy humble but firm take: Paul could keep these archives to himself, and never allow them to be seen by anyone other than his own eyes, family, and friends. Instead, he's sharing a part of his unique experience with anyone who would like to take a look. Yes, for a price, but that's part of the deal and acceptable.
DeleteAgree with 11.27am. People are taking the price out of context. Most photography books are of a similar price.
Deletepaul has always been his best pr man and knows how to make a buck; the book will be nice for those who can afford it in their budget
DeleteJust watched this interview. The man looks great, rockin the silver hair and a beard thats about a week or so old. Hope I look as good as Paul when I'm a few days away from turning 81.
ReplyDeleteGoing to look at it before I decide. Does seem very pricey.
