Remembering George 21 years on

 

21 years without George.  Does that even seem possible?   When I think about all of the great fans that got into The Beatles after George's death, I realize how fortunate I was to be alive when new George Harrison music was released.   It always made me a little sad that he never toured so that I could see him, but I know that George lived happily, taking care of his garden at Friar Park and raising his son.   He didn't owe me or anyone a concert.    I joke a lot about how George was the "grumpy one," but really, I tease because I just like the guy so much -- grumpiness and all!
