The Casino is fully hollow (unlike some other guitars that are only partially hollow). And it's very prone to feedback for that reason. So it's not a surprise George would tape over the 'f-holes' to try to reduce that happening.
Note also that his Casino has a Bigsby vibrato, which is the best way to distinguish it from John's, which has the stock 'trapeze' tailpiece.
Jan.4, 1970...Overdubs on "Let It Be"....harmony vocals...horns...new bass line by Paul...extra drums by Ringo...piano by Paul...and a new guitar solo by George that would be featured on the "Let It Be" album.
Harrison taped up the sound holes on his Casino?

ReplyDeleteI prefer the guitar solo to Let It Be on the album much more than the one on the single. (MarkZapp)
