"So then I called to say they could make it okay -- they could get married in Gilbraltar -- near Spain."

  1. the wedding was 1969 not 1970 and not with Ringo

    1. Duh. This is a joke. See the joke is that in the photograph there is Peter Brown. In this joke, Peter Brown is telling Ringo (a year later) that He (instead of saying Peter Brown as in the song) "called to say they (they being John and Yoko) could make it okay. They could get married in Gailbraltor, near Spain." See my friend -- those are lyrics in the song "The Ballad of John and Yoko" and I thought it would be funny to depict this photograph of Peter Brown talking to Ringo Starr (real name Richard Starkey) as if he were saying the things from the song lyrics that mention his name. Does that clear things up?

  2. Sara, at least you did not post a reversed pic. If that happened, some people actually would have to take their phone and GET UP OUT OF THEIR CHAIR and go to a mirror to reverse it themselves. I mean, the scandal of that! Just cannot have that here. :-0
