The word in Pepperland is that a new Plastic Ono Band release is heading our way in October. Not only a remastered album but also a book (now available for pre-order on Amazon). Rare photos to be included! Yippie!
Great photo! I think this is the first photo that I have ever seen of John and Ringo together during the recording of this album! Will there one day be a surfacing of John and Paul recording The Ballad of John and Yoko? (MarkZapp)
These photos were just released today to promote the pre-sale of the book. I don't think anyone has ever seen them before. At this point, I wouldn't be surprised at what photos might be hidden away that we will eventually see.
The book from the few sample pages on Amazon seems to be following a similar template to the hefty Imagine book from 2018. Interestingly, early on the publisher was touted as the same (Thames and Hudson) but appears now to have changed. It looks like a must-buy.
If anyone has missed it, the Classic Albums series did a GREAT video documentary on the POB sessions, with exclusive interviews about the sessions from Ringo and Klaus. Highly, highly recommended.
